Grand Hotel Saint Michel

The entire staff and service of the hotel could not have been better. And you can't beat the location if you're looking for a lively area to visit, very close to the Pantheon (which is quite underrated among tourists, I believe). Even though we experienced a slight inconvenience during our trip, not to the fault of the hotel or any of its staff, the Grand Hotel Saint-Michel exceeded our expectations to make up for any problem on our part. From the front desk (day and night staff) to the service staff (rooms were made up efficiently and smartly) to the breakfast room (what a spread!) ours was a first class experience.

The hotel location is great as it is at walking distance to some of the key landmarks and attractions and metro stations where you can easily get to your destination. But the highlight is the staff, as their service was simply amazing, especially from Lillian, she was something else! And the breakfast was really good, with different protein and side dish options every day. We will certainly stay there again when we go back to Paris!

The staff and location are the main reason to stay here. You will be well taken care of in a clean and safe hotel. Staff is quick to help. Patient and kind. Thank you Marie and your fellow front desk staff for ensuring a pleasant experience and excellent customer service. I've stayed here once with my son 3 years ago and most recently with a friend. Reception with a smile, helpful suggestions and someone is always available to help, no matter how busy they are. Any concern or questions were addressed immediately with respect and patience. I asked for a first floor room and I got a half floor room. It was lovely. The hotel is in my favorite place to stay in Paris. It seems safe even late at night. The night desk manager was so helpful, polite, and spoke English very well. The breakfast was expensive but very good. They even had protein choices which seem to be unusual for France hotels. They had quality bedding and terrific AC and the bathroom was immaculate. They were generous with the towels, again unusual in France.

The receptionists were all so inviting and friendly. I was able to grab a cappuccino and a snack from their waiting area while being checked in and leave my luggage in a storage room upon checking out. The rooms were quaint and clean. My room had a window that opened up over the street which not only allowed fresh air to circulate but also the sounds of the streets and birds.
